Calculate 你的 Estimated Cost

使用 业务单位估计量, 我们的 net price calculator tool, to get an idea of what costs and financial aid you can expect as an incoming student at SBU. This cost calculator will help you determine for which scholarships and financial aid you may qualify. 金融援助 Process and Timeline

1. 应用 申请入读SBU
2. 完成 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student 援助) as soon as possible after it is released in December，但在 建议截止日期2月. 1.
3. Some students are randomly selected each year for FAFSA验证. If you are selected for FAFSA验证, you will need to submit additional forms before funds can be released 到你的 account.
4. 如果您打算使用 military educational benefits，完成 Veteran Certification Request Form as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days before the start of the academic term.
5. 收到你的 personal financial aid award package after you have been admitted and have a completed financial aid file. 金融援助 packages usually start being made available in January for students entering the next 秋天. (Due to federal changes to the FAFSA, students enrolling for Fall 2024 should expect to receive financial packages in March)
6. 检查你的SBU电子邮件 for important information regarding how to log in to the MySBU portal. 使用自助服务 module to accept and/or decline any part of y我们的 financial aid award.
7. 探索 付款方式 for any balance remaining after financial aid is applied. SBU付一个学期的帐单 at a time and utilizes an online payment system with payment plan options. 付款 arrangements need to be finalized two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester.

Once you are admitted to SBU, you will receive an SBU email address and access to the MySBU Admitted Student Portal. You need to check y我们的 SBU email address often, even before you arrive on campus, for important information, especially related to the online process for approving and finalizing y我们的 financial aid award.
